Kohl's Cares Plush Toto
100% of the profits from these and other adorable plushes go back in the community to support children. Toto and his coordinating Wonderful Wizard of Oz book sumptuously illustrated by Charles Santore are only $5 each. Charles Santore's edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is hailed as one of the most beautifully illustrated editions ever published and is a favorite among Oz fans. Toto is around 10 inches tall and is very soft to the touch & cuddly. With Halloween around the corner I expect Toto to go very fast. He's very reasonably priced for a costume accessory and for a plush in general.

Kurt Adler Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Kurt Adler is no longer making licensed items based on the film, but they've been making ornaments inspired by the books since the late 70s. This year's offerings are some of the most adorable they've ever done.

Disney Oz the Great and Powerful Vinylmation
Disney Vinylmation™ is a brand of 1.5", 3", and 9" vinyl collectibles sold at Disney theme parks, select Disney Stores, and online Disney Store. The name Vinylmation is a combination of the word Animation and Vinyl.The figures are all shaped like Mickey Mouse but have different themed markings, colors and patterns. Disney's Vinylmation Showcase at Epcot Center on September 9th debuted two of four Oz: The Great and Powerful Vinylmation characters. The four limited edition sets are designed by Ron Cohee. These are the 3" Vinylmation/Vinylmation Jr. sized sets.

Byers' Choice 2012 Carolers
Byers' Choice is offering a special Dorothy & Toto. She is priced at $73.00 plus applicable sales tax. Print out the form and return to your local Byers' Choice retailer by September 1. Caroler figures are proudly made in the United States. Byers matriarch Joyce designs each face and outfit. The Carolers started out as an intimate family affair but has expanded to include 80 artisans to accommodate demand. Each year the Byers family donates 20% of their profits to charity.
Dorothy was first introduced in 2010 as a Christmas Dove exclusive. That Dorothy wore red glittered shoes and Toto was a figurine to be purchased separately. The 2012 edition Dorothy is wearing silver slippers as originally envisioned by L. Frank Baum and she's holding Toto close.

The Christmas Dove Oz series continued after Dorothy and Toto with a Wicked Witch for 2011 and a Cowardly Lion for 2012.
Any of these figures would be charming additions to an Oz, Christmas, or storybook collection.

Latidoll Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Latidoll has been producing fine collector ball jointed dolls since 2005. They recently introduced a series of 5 adorable dolls based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The teaser photo shows Dorothy in red shoes, but the actual shoes are silver in keeping with the original story. They stand just under 6 1/2 inches. The dolls are sold as basic nudes with accessories and costuming extra. Delivery takes a month or so.
